One Young Mother's Story
The Birthing of a Dream
7th Dream Helping Hearts was born from founder Shaniqua Hopkins own experience of becoming pregnant at 15.
She remembers the uncertainty of trying to navigate pregnancy and parenting while searching for the resources, guidance, and support she needed. She also remembers the people and experiences that showed her what was possible when someone was willing to encourage a young mother, invest in her future, and create space for her to keep dreaming.
Those experiences became part of the vision for 7th Dream Helping Hearts.
Today, what began with one young mother's story has grown into a community committed to helping young parents and families access the support, relationships, and opportunities that can help change the trajectory of a life.
